The countryside of Hästveda is one of the most horse-rich in Sweden and that is not all that weird considering there are very nice trails and good pasture. Many horse interested people inhabit the farms and got their own horses. The horse owners are motley, there’s both trot- and gallop trainers but also cross-country, dressage and show-jumping riders. Of course icelandic horses are also very well represented in the area, both on a hobby level and international competition level.
